The place Canlaon City is known as the vegetable basket of Negros Island. The agricultural harvests are being supplied in the entire Negros Island Region and other neighboring provinces, Here in Canlaon City we have a lot of tourist spots that I know You will love to comeback because of the refreshing water falls and springs

Inland Resort

The Inland Resort is a public resort created by the government of Canlaon City for its people to enjoy.The resort has 3-tier swimming pools with ice-cold water flowing freely from a huge and if you just put your drinks such as soft drinks or beers on the side of the Inland Swimming pool, you will be amazed at the excitement because in just a few minutes it will look like you just put it in the refrigerator because it is as cold as ice. And To reach the swimming pools, you need to take a 150 plus concrete steps going down. But now the LGU build a new easy access going down to Inlad resort especially for PWD people that they can also experience and see how beauty and refreshing Inland resort is.

There are a lot of hidden falls in Canlaon City; one of the best is Padudusan falls. It is made by lava before when the Mt. Kanlaon is erupted, It's unique because of its natural waterslides, and a very crystal clear water

Next stop is Mt. Kanlaon Volcano, Many mountain climbers desire to hike from base camp because of the beautiful view of the entire Canlaon City where you can unwind and relax.

Balete Tree

The Century Tree or also know as "Balete Tree" which has grown to be the city's top tourist destination, is living proof that Canlaon has a lot to offer besides the well-known volcano. Balete Tree is estimated to be over 1,328 years old, Ar the OISCA farm, it stands in the heart of rice and coffee plantations, and it would take 42 grown men to wrap their hands around the tree's trunk in a circle.

As a Canlaonian , I can say that we are lucky because we have a very beautiful place and abundant harvests from the city, which flooded farmer’s lands with crops and vegetables. Canlaon City became known as the vegetable basket and highland garden of Negros Oriental. In order to give thanks and praise to the Heavenly Father the festival was created.Its called Pasayaw Festival Its means that "Pasalamat Pinaagi sa Sayaw".
